Hi! I'm Sue Doering a full-time faculty member in the Communication Department at Lake Superior College. My experience bridges from occupational programming to general education of Liberal Arts. Working with students is something I thoroughly enjoy. It is very gratifying to help others reach their goals. Thoughout my career, I have learned the value of community volunteering. As a member of the Junior League of Duluth, a charitable & volunteer organization for women whose mission is to build better communities, I have personally and professionally gained so much more in return for my commitment to voluntarism. Through the Duluth Toastmasters Club #1523, I continue to develop my speaking skills while sharing knowledge on communication and leadership.  A variety of the courses that I teach are involved in civic engaging activities that expose students to community involvement in areas of need.
